"Implementing Strategic Portfolio Management SPM was an eye-opener as it has produced unparalleled insights over our product development pipeline, which enabled us to make strategic decisions over which projects to accelerate, which to avoid, and in which to invest longterm. The SPM process and tool produces real-time data from quantitative risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle providing invaluable information to negotiate better deals with our customers as projects evolve and circumstances change. We used to compare NPV of project A, B and C. We then chose B as it had the largest NPV, not knowing that its risks or probability of success was very unfavorable.
